BRETT CHAPIN (Peter) Brett is proud to be returning to the stage with Forty Carats, after a brief absence to pursue his second love...music. His favorite roles include Mortimer in Arsenic and Old Lace at Music Theatre Village, Timothy in The Secret Garden at The Laguna Playhouse and Dewey (twice!) In The Diviners at the Vanguard Theatre Ensemble. He is a graduate of both the repertory and conservatory acting programs of the Laguna Playhouse. Brett would like to thank all his friends and family for being everything you are. Your unconditional love and support is priceless to me. DONNA COOK (Mrs. Margolin) Forty Carats is Donna’s third play at the Stage Door Theatre. She is thrilled to be working with Mike and Gale again. Love and Thank You to Nance Crawford and our marvelous cast family. JOHN ESLICK (Eddie Edwards) This is John’s second at the Stage Door, the first playing Carlino in Wait Until Dark. He has worked as a TV and movie extra and has performed at other theatres, in the area. When not performing, he works as a graphic designer and illustrator. John thanks Leslie and Kaila for all their love and support. JACKIE GOLDBERG (Maud) "Get up - Get out - and Get a Life" is Jackie Goldberg’s (AKA The Pink Lady) philosophy. As an actress and motivational speaker, Jackie believes in living, loving and laughing her way through her golden years. She sees life -always - through rose colored glasses. HANNAH KAPLAN (Trina) This is Hannah's first time performing at the Stage Door Theater and she is more than thrilled to actually be playing her own age for once. Though she may seem young and naive, she has done quite a bit of theater in her nineteen years of existence and plans on doing much more. Hannah has been seen on the stage numerous times at Conejo Players, Young Artist Ensemble, Moorpark College, Filmore Western Railway, Kingsman Shakespeare Company, and the Agoura High School G-Building. As of right now she remains unseen in the big headed costumes at Universal Studios and babysitting on the occasion. (She's really good! Ask for her number! She's got references!) Hannah hopes one day she may be able to remove the big heads and maybe say a word or two on the screen. When she isn't acting she's usually found knitting, listening to wildly loud music in her car, drinking a cinnamon dolce latte from Starbucks, collecting snow globes, or performing random acts of kindness. Thank you to everyone who has given her love and support throughout the show. DIANE LE MOINE (Ann) Diane feels lucky to be a part of this superb cast and crew. She thanks Gale and Mike for the opportunity and for this wonderful theatre. Diane hopes you have as much fun with Forty Carats as she’s had. ART ROBERTS (Billy) Art was last seen at the Stage Door in On Golden Pond. JILL WADLEIGH (Asst. To the Dir.) Jill continues her love affair with the theatre with her 5th production at the Stage Door. She’s thrilled to be a small part of this great group. NANCE CRAWFORD (Director) Nance began her professional career as an actress at age six. A participant in the initial program of the Lincoln Center Directors Lab West, and a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), The Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights and The Dramatists Guild of America, Inc., she currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Lonny Chapman Group Repertory Theatre in North Hollywood.
